MikeMarsh has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I have installed ASE 15.0.3 64 bit on AIX 5.3 box. Perl modules DBD and DBI have been compiled to Sybase 64 libraries ($SYBASE/$SYBASE_OCS/lib). When I run a perl script (code below) I get error: Dependent module could not be loaded. Could not load module System error: No such file or directory There is no sybase module called ''. The closest one is ''.

use Sybase::CTlib;

I tried creating softlinks in ASE lib (ln -s ./ ./ but that didn't work. Any suggestions?

    You should probably rebuild sybperl (Sybase::CTlib) with the your OpenClient 15.x.
