in thread Perl CGI File Upload Problem

The Webtop admin guide says, both POST and GET methods are allowed. So theoretically they say both POST and GET methods should work. All the cgi scripts there are using the GET method, but I'm not able to argue that I can't use POST method until I can prove that

This is the link to the admin guide for Webtop server. Its a 5 MB file. ( . In chapter 10, Administering Tools, it says I can use both POST and GET methods.

Let me quote part of my answer again:

You will need to speak with your webserver administrator as to why POST requests are not allowed.

What steps outlined in this part of my answer have you already taken? What was the result?

Sorry to confuse you with my earlier reply.

I talked with my webserver administrator . He was saying, as per the Webtop Admin guide, the server should support POST method and I might be getting such an error because of some other reason.

Also I've added the CGI scripts I used for doing the file upload.
