Parsing problem

mmittiga17 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi All, Have an excel file I am trying parse but not being good with the parse spread sheet module is not acting as expected. Instead I want to convert to txt and then parse.

data: ABCC BRL Opening Balance "85,604.65" Closing Balance "85,604.65" EUR Opening Balance 0.19 Closing Balance 0.19 GBP Opening Balance 0.04 Closing Balance 0.04 Calc Balance 453,000 ABCC is name BRL is currency

what I want is to get the name,Currency and then closing amount. Unless there is a calc balance associated with the currency then I want that.

so ouput would look like this:
ABCC,BRL,"85,604.65" ABCC,EUR,0.19 ABCC,GBP,453,000 <--calbal. If I can be pointed in the right direction I would be deeply indebted +to ya's Thanks
