If i find a critical flaw in my companies flagship product, i

• do the Microsoft dance and hope nobody will ever find out
• do the Sony dance, pull the plug for two solid months and hope the customers wont notice
• do the Seagate dance, release some half-arsed update and hope it wont kill the customers data
• do the IRC dance, flamewar everyone off the channel and hope nobody will blame me for the real problem
• do the Perlmonks dance, write a workaround Acme:: module and hope nobody else will ever use it
