A non-perl related question -- if you're using jquery, what's the value of aXML_ajax_read and aXML_ajax_write?

    Those are two old ajax routines I wrote prior to discovering the magic of jQuery. They were used on my old forum system for the same function, so instead of re-writing jQuery stylee them I just chucked them in as they are.
