Hi, Code not working in Google Chrome. But working in IE. What shall I do to make it working in Chrome too? var req = new XMLHttpRequest(); req.open('GET', 'http://www.google.com/', false); req.send(); var temp=new Array(); if(req.status == 200) { temp = req.responseText; } In temp variable, I am getting the source code of google.com if I run +in IE. But fails in chrome. Regards.

This is not an appropriate question for PerlMonks. Try StackOverflow

I suspect you are working on your spectacular plan. Nobody here will help you with anything like that.

Purchase something that serves to guide or direct in the solution of a problem or mystery.

I'll bite ... it probably works in IE because you've set up your trust domains to allow cross domain XMLHttpRequests. This is an unholy sin and you should seek penance now. Think about it, if you have control over *all* the browsers, this MS/IE only approach will work. If you have no control over the browsers, this is just the road to hell (and I'm not convinced you're paving it with good intentions).
