Hi Monks, Can somebody answer me that how to remove apache cmopletely from my ubuntu 10.10. It's apache2 installed. I want it to uninstall but not getting the exact way to do so. So, please guys let me know the exact way to do so. I did following:

root@Ubuntu10:/usr/bin# sudo apt-get --purge remove apache
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
Virtual packages like 'apache' can't be removed
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 5 not upgraded.

root@Ubuntu10:/usr/bin# sudo apt-get --purge remove httpd

Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
Virtual packages like 'httpd' can't be removed
