constantlearner has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

a. diff $sub/chip_core_top/src/chip_core_top.sv $tests/connectivity/hdl/src/chip_core_top.sv

b. If the only difference is the two signals above being input in the first file and inout in the second stop, nothing needs updating.

c. If there are more differences than the two signals, check out $tests/connectivity/hdl/src/chip_core_top.sv

d. Copy $sub/chip_core_top/src/chip_core_top.sv to $tests/connectivity/hdl/src/chip_core_top.sv

e. Edit $tests/connectivity/hdl/src/chip_core_top.sv and change the two signals from input to inout.

f. Check in $tests/connectivity/hdl/src/chip_core_top.sv
