Fork it and register the Config::VeryTiny. To leave a present for maintainer who has his head stuck up his ass, change the META and POD NAME sections, and do an unauthorized release to show other monks they aren't to be downloading a dinosaur.

    There is no need to antagonize a CPAN author, especially when the CPAN author actually is responsive. A response time of four days is far away from slow, especially when the author has just moved between continents and started a new job.

    But then, maybe your advice was not posted with the idea of actually improving the state of affairs.

    That would be lame since he already released Alt::Config::Tiny::utf8 which lives in the Alt namespace
