search.cpan.org's stack?

isync has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Metacpan's backend is completely on github, which is nice.
But so far I couldn't find any information on the perl-software stack behind search.cpan.org. Can somebody help me? Is any part of it online? Even when the source isn't published, what modules is it running on, for example to render the POD to HTML?
