If you use strict, variables have to be declared with my, e.g.

my $computername = '';

[marioroy]: Discipulus Hubris, that's not me :( :(, I do not know the reason, but was inspired years ago to do MCE. Back then made a promise that I would hang in there no matter the difficulties or hurdles along the way. This is the journey that is almost completed
