What do you get if you try?:

net use z: \\10.95.206.110\filessytem\data

    Network share not found. But i can net use the ip address and also the location is that of a share as i can view it through run.

      Sorry I was giving wrong path. It is connecting using net use

        Given that the latest version of lanman I can find is dated 2003, it wouldn't surprise me if it is broken for newer builds.

        But if net use works, why not use that?
