Its easier to respond to someone's question like this,
my $type = '';
for my $entry (@$array) {
if ( $entry->{type} ne $type ) {
$type = $entry->{type};
print $type."\n";
}
print "\t$entry->{name}\n";
}
than to read some douchebag like this guy that just think because he knows some lines of computer code, he can make people that are learning feel stupid. Morons like you should be banned to interact with people. Shut your hole please, and learn that if you can't answer a question stay way. You suck man!!!!

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
