I wept as I read this. I have not enough words to express my
sadness...

As for us, we are all ok. So far everyone we know is safe,
too. My husband had a meeting in midtown Manhattan yesterday,
and was supposed to go to a client company in WTC after that -
it would be just about the "right" time. Luckily meeting went
on for a little longer than planned, and he did not leave the
office until after both planes crashed.
Few other friends that worked there or were in PATH trains ran out
to safety on time.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
