Hi. I just wanted to follow up my previous reply to say that I think your updates are brilliant.
Even where you don't agree with a Perl convention, you have explained the convention and your opinions on it in a dispasionate and thoughtful way. I think that is great.
In fact I have to say that if you were to take the time to put this into a perldoc type style (ie podded up with PM specifics changed or removed) and submitted it to p5p that you just might find it gets included with the standard distro. I certainly would vote that its worthy. (FWIW :-)
