I take my name from the breed of dog that I am a fan of. The Australian Cattle Dog is known to its enthusiasts as a "cowdog" and just for grins I corrupted that to cowdawg.

The "blue" in the name refers to one of the two variaties of ACD. The blue merle or the red merle. My favorite coloring being the blue I refer to myself as the "blue_cowdawg"

What is ironic is that I own to reds not a blue...
