Yes - That's absolutely right....

FastCGI and lighttpd makes for a very good hosting environment for Rails apps (PHP apps too).

lighttpd seems to be becoming the preferred choice for PHP and the wonderful Ruby (see here)

Now, if only lighttpd supported mod_perl....
