Hello, somashekar, and welcome to Perl Monks. This isn't a mailing list. It's a Website where you can post questions that will be answered here on the Website. In general, you will need to come back here to find answers to the questions you ask. One reason for doing it this way is so that others can benefit from the answer. Also, if an answer is incomplete or inaccurate, other Perl Monks can add their opinions and corrections.
Because the questions and answers are preserved, it is possible for someone to do a search for their topic, and see whether the question has already been asked and answered. This is what Search and Super Search are for. Doing a search before asking a question will help avoid annoying people for asking a question that has been asked and answered dozens of times before.
Posts are HTML formatted. Put <p> </p> tags around your paragraphs. Put <code> </code> tags around your code and data!
Read Where should I post X? if you're not absolutely sure you're posting in the right place.
