Thanks for your help,

Here are the values for the three tests I'm failing:

test 19 -> $p->current_line = 0
test 20 -> $p->current_column = 0
test 24 -> the values are definitely not equal (see below)

$cmpstr:
    <blah> 2nd line in bar </blah>
    3rd line in bar <!-- Isn't this a doozy -->

  </bar>

$pos:
    <blah> 2nd line in bar </blah>
    3rd line in bar <!-- Isn't this a doozy -->

I opened up a bug report on CPAN, but I'll update here if/when I get somewhere with this. Thanks again!
