( [id://3333]=superdoc: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

(well, just Damian's services at lunch tomorrow)

At the YAPC Auction last night, Damian Conway donated his time and attention for the duration of one lunch, promising to "talk non-stop". Through the combined efforts of particle, Util, chargrill, diotalevi, ChemBoy, zrusilla, and hobbs, along with non-monk John Melesky, our $675 bid won the auction. Our bid was for Damian to attend the PerlMonksBOF lunch tomorrow; we hope all the monks at YAPC will attend.

If we had not bid, he might have come anyway; TheDamian es muy macho monk, and might have super-positioned himself. This way, though, we will have his undivided (fully collapsed quantum wave) presence.

Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
