I saw an article on Perl in Dr. Dobbs which piqued my interest. I found a copy of perl 4.036 on a Sun User Group Deutschland CDROM so I installed it to try. Perl has been my language of choice ever since. I just loved the way you can throw strings around without breaking sweat. When I think back to C and strcopy, strthis, strthat ... the pain you had to go through. Cheers, JohnGG
