So I didn't follow rule #1 and needed to add to my post, only to discover there was no handle by which to do that.
The post (http://www.perlmonks.org/?node_id=759438) is made by Minok (me), but its just presented as posted by Minok, and I cannot edit it (as if Minok is not me). Q&A > arrays > How do I completely remove an element from an array? contributed by Minok I then proceeded to reply to my own post to add what I wanted to add and see that that post (http://www.perlmonks.org/?node_id=759447) is indeed recognized as 'me':
