Hello Monks
my problem doesn't make sense in perl, but iam looking for good approach for my problem. I'd like to write code prototype which checks the system configuration on Linux box. Memory, CPU, OS, release, Swap etc. can anybody provide any help which is highly appreciated.

<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
