Dear monks I am trying to run an example on SimpleXLSX with ActiveState perl 5.0.16 and I get an error message that it can not fin perl512.dll.
My guess is that it sholud be using perl516.dll, why am I getting this error?
#!/usr/bin/perl -w
use strict;
use SimpleXLSX;
my $parser = SimpleXLSX->new();
my $workbook = $parser->parse('Book1.xls');
if ( !defined $workbook ) {
die $parser->error(), ".\n";
}
for my $worksheet ( $workbook->worksheets() ) {
my ( $row_min, $row_max ) = $worksheet->row_range();
my ( $col_min, $col_max ) = $worksheet->col_range();
for my $row ( $row_min .. $row_max ) {
for my $col ( $col_min .. $col_max ) {
my $cell = $worksheet->get_cell( $row, $col );
next unless $cell;
print "Row, Col = ($row, $col)\n";
print "Value = ", $cell->value(), "\n";
print "Unformatted = ", $cell->unformatted(), "\n";
print "\n";
}
}
}
Result:

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
