Seems misteriously solved. No idea what the reason was and (un)fortunately no longer reproducable. Have not touched the specific computer other than for reading docs and the normal problems as iI always do. Puzzled but glad now. Problem is. I can't reproduce it anymore. Good thing of course, but I will not risc getting the issue again after reinstallng perl. That I would do if I were admin. Tnx for the help. Hope this issue will not return.
