Re: IO-Socket-IP in perl-5.8.8

IO::Socket::IP uses Socket 1.97 and from corelist -a, looks like you don't have that unless you upgraded Socket also:

VinsWorldcom@C:\Users\VinsWorldcom> corelist -a Socket
...
  v5.8.8     1.78
...
  v5.15.6    1.97

Hi Yes CPAN installed the latest version: ./corelist -a Socket ... v5.17.9 2.009 Should I downgrade to 1.97 ?	[reply]

Well have also cross-checked with CPAN and .pm and the version is indeed: 2.009	[reply]
