I have lived in the north and the south - In the south they say everything is a Coke - In the north they say "pop" It's a regional thing. I never hear anyone say "soft drink" = )

Which north? In New England (that's considered north, right?), it is usually either soda or soft drink... "soda" is conversational, "soft drink" - for the menus...	[reply]

Yes yes..exactly. I noticed the same thing. I think the word 'pop' is ridiculous, though. I can accept calling everything coke more than I can accept the word 'pop'. Oth, I live on the west coast again. They do it right here. Everything here is a 'soda' which makes more sense, imo. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ - Jim Insert clever comment here...	[reply]
