Is it basic human ambition that drives us to criticize first instead of compliment the offering?

The perl community *needs* ambitious developers willing to invest in perl specific applications. Perl developers should support them, promote them, and do everything possible to find one more reason to promote the community as a whole.

Thank you for the job well done - and please consider expanding your software to multiple operating systems.
My favorite perl editor is a windows specific application - which I almost never use now in Linux!

A fair point. While I am in favour of Open Source / Free Software, I realise that programming for the Windows environment is a dreary task that entitles those who do it to seek financial compensation ;-)
