I am reminded of the Dutch phrase "Om de hoek", which means around the corner, but sometimes gets miss-translated as "On the corner".

The phrase also has some of the same connotations of the English phrase "Round the bend".

"Om de hoek" ... 'der' is tooooo German ;-) ,,Um die Ecke'' in German. ,,jemanden um die Ecke bringen'' - literally: to escort somebody round the corner - means to kill that somebody though. Cheers, Sören	[reply]
