I am reminded of the Dutch phrase "Om de hoek", which means around the corner, but sometimes gets miss-translated as "On the corner".

The phrase also has some of the same connotations of the English phrase "Round the bend".

    That is "Om de hoek" ... 'der' is tooooo German ;-)

      ,,jemanden um die Ecke bringen'' - literally: to escort somebody round the corner - means to kill that somebody though.
