Me looks at feet... hmmm (hiking) socks w/sandals.
It's just something that I picked up back in the days when I did more hiking. Sandals are great when you are going to be in and out of the water, over the rocks ond through the woods. Add some nice wool socks to warm the feet and keep the blisters away and you're set.
Fashion? We don' need no stinkin' fashion.
