I personally believe that the saddest thing is that the new "anti-downvoting mechanism" is now active...

...which hopefully makes it a little more likely that people won't feed the trolls.

    I personally believe that downvoting what that deserves being downvoted and thus contributing to shaping the slope of Perlmonkscape does not count as trollfeeding. Perhaps the fact that one may risk losing some points by expressing his discomfort with a downvote could even increase the desire for some to do so with a full reply, thus making a little more likely that people will feed the trolls. Whatever...
