It's not a matter of my approval at all. However, I suspect you'll find that your opinions about what work should be done are given more credence by those doing the work when you're helping shoulder that burden rather than taking shots from the side.

So where are these distributed programs?

I don't view this thread as taking shots from the side , let me reiterate what he wrote so I can enforce educated_foo's point of view

The problem I have with how you spend your time is that it makes so much noise per unit of useful work. Here, have a cookie. Meanwhile, the people who make Perl worth using have been applying several patches per day without any blog noise.

Now what the guy is saying here is that chromatic is making a lot of fuss about patching 2 lines of POD and stuff like that.

but it is probably in chromatic's nature to speak about these little success stories he has. or maybe he needs approval ... I really don't know
