patcat88 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

How do I get in touch with A. U. Thor? His email bounces. He writes 1000s of perl modules and is a tireless perl programmer but they are all crap IMHO, and I'd like to send him a message about it.

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

Contacting THOR is religious matter between you and your hammer. And we don't know where that hammer's been, so please keep Perl out of it.

And a happy April 1st to you too.

I would not worry about the modules, they all do the same thing: "Perl extension for blah blah blah".

He must also be the guy who does all the programming in our department. The number of modules grow, the documentation (whatever little exists anyway) sucks and he never answers the phone. And today, he switched our web-interface language to yoda-speak.

Oh wait... i'm the only guy in my department who knows Perl. Never mind...

... but seriously though - have you seen modules of this author on CPAN?
its a shame to find these, but at least you could contact them via RT and their CPAN handle.

Looks like he needs to confer with E. D. Itor ... and to file more work with T. R. Ashcan.   (This is certainly no place for P. H. Pee.)

Why don't you rather write a better one?

Today is 1 April. In the US, at least, it's a day when people play silly tricks and write mock articles.

LOL. That was a good one mate!
