London Perl Workshop 2012 (24th Nov)

LPW 2012 is soon upon us, in fact it's this very weekend, Saturday 24th. I'm looking for comments on why folks are (or indeed are not) attending:

Well, two reasons really - it's a little far for me to travel there from New Zealand, and I'll be in a fairly remote part of Fiordland in any case.

However, best wishes for a great event!

I've attended the last 2 years but will not be this year. The main reason is I left it too late and now the transport and accomodation are going to be too expensive. For some reason I forgot it is usually in November but I did not see anything about it to remind me until recently.

The fact that I am already over 1000 emails behind on the perl5-porters mailing list shows that I am way too busy with $work …

So, lack of time, not lack of tuits. If my boss agrees, I'd like to come next year.

Actually I thought about coming, but I'm still too exhausted from last YAPC. :-/

Next year for sure, since I can use my cousins house in London as a base! =)

But I have to admit that a summer date would be more attractive ...
