FYI, I've made some updates if you're interested. It will now run in --auto N mode, which clears the screen and displays the status(es) every N seconds, and added POD as well as a --help arg. Just want to say I appreciate the feedback. I likely wouldn't have done anything to this if you didn't say anything. Here's the repo, and the code on CPAN.
