Most Wiki engines I have encountered consist of one monolithic script. People who don't know Perl well can install such scripts easily, but experienced Perl programmers may find them difficult to customise. CPAN modules such as CGI::Wiki and Text::WikiFormat interest me because they break a Wiki engine down into more manageable chunks.
