    Hmm, so on the nature versus nuture debate, you're clearly on the nature side? The die is cast from the moment you are born? This reminds me of some lyrics from an XTC song:

    Life's like a firework,
    You're only lit once,
    And you must stand and radiate correctly.

    I myself am not so pessimistic. Life is what you make of it.

    Shouldn't the # unlink "life" ; arrive after the destruction of all days:
    while($day=pop @mind)
    {undef $day}

    Or do you mean that all that "<LIFE>" inside your @mind shall survive to you?
