Problem with XP?

by belize (Deacon)
on Apr 01, 2001 at 20:33 UTC ( #68842=monkdiscuss: print w/ replies, xml ) Need Help??

I noticed today that when I signed in, I got a "Ack! You've lost 1 experience point".

But, my experience points increased by 1. When I voted, I saw the same thing happen. I started the day with 140 points to level 6, and ended the day with 132 points to level 6, but every time a point was added, I got the "Ack!..." return instead of the "Congratulations..." return.

Is there something I am missing, or has something recently been done to the code to start this?
