Hide behind "citation req'd", hi? Well, nothing others can do to help you if that's your choice. You are like a dead body just came out of a coffin.
Perl was raised to a new level with CGI at one point, but now Perl has lost this particular web battle.
Without any strong application area to hold onto, most people won't give P6 a shit. Not try to be rude, but that's fact, people use language to write applications, and not for fun, and a wise people always choose the best breed in particular application a area.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
