Another use for this is described on my homenode under
the "For all your nodelette sorrow" heading.
I was just going to make it a node that you could bookmark
(with &displaytype=raw) for when one of your nodelettes
break but, as you mention, that doesn't work. So instead
you have to make two bookmarks and just memorize how to
use them.
So I'd also like to see this "fixed".

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
