I agree. I don't vote on a node unless I like it. That usually means
that it was understandable to me, or it had a good point, or I can see that someone tried before
posting a question. I don't like it when I see "How do I" rather then "I tried, but."
I usually have votes left at the end of the day. Oh well, I'm not very experianced in perl
and I don't need the XP points anyway. I have been guilty of personality voting (only to the up side)
but I see so many wise monks that seem to never get the answer wrong, that I just
have to ++ something that I would normally leave alone. Sorry.

By the way, ++ kudra and footpad

Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
