in reply to Curses-based applications?

... Config::Model::CursesUI ...

cme -ui curses ...

config-edit -ui curses ...

FWIW, maintainer says I'm retiring so I have surrendered maintainership of all Curses-UI modules which had a maintainership

Why are we so backwards when it comes to TUI?

I recognize the rhetorical SHARYANTO :)

Curses is a PICKLE all on its own, everywhere, and naturally, every little thing is optional -- and if you don't compile that support in, the higher level modules like Curses::UI don't stand a chance ...

but I don't really TUI

    Thanks, I've tried several 'cme edit' commands like 'cme edit fstab'. Seems to work and decent enough. Although the app itself says "You should install Config::Model::TkUI for a more friendly user interface".
