Some of you may have noticed the addition of a new pmdev user group.
These users have the ability to see the majority of code that runs the site.
This group will have the ability to submit new features and bug-fixes
for my approval. Depending on how much actual new code gets pushed my way
the process will probably need to become more refined. We'll see how it goes.
If you're interested in it and level 8 or above /msg me and I'll add you to the group. Eventually I'll allow more people to join the group but I want to get a feel for things before I open the floodgates for loads of new development.
Another item of interest that is in the works is the PM-Port project. zdog is working on
assembling a team to port PerlMonks from Everything 0.8x to 1.0. 1.0 offers a lot
more power. At the least it would be neat to get a downloadable starter site
that included PM-like functionality. If you're interested in joining or learning more
about this effort /msg zdog.
