So I'm posting a reply, and I use the full url for perldoc perl org perlthrtut as opposed to [doc://perlthrtut] and i get nice permission denied message

As I'm typing this bug report, I also made the mistake of actualy pasting the full perldoc url, and permission denied again

Perhaps whatever spam prevention mechanism you're using, you can allow a whitelist for perl org, cpan org, perldoc org, plover com, and the like

Thanks

Re: PERMISSION DENIED, you linked to something, can't have that

Yes, currently posting of URLs is a bit broken. But as the code is now far more modular than the monolithic (and unmaintainable) mess it was before, this should be fixed within the next few days.

In fact, looking at the non-spam URL hosts whitelist, perldoc.org is not listed, which is a likely cause.

Perhaps it would also be helpful to call looksLikeSpam in preview, not just in create (as in opNew).

    Add mysql.com to the list
