I think there should be a new Section on PerlMonks for Jobs/Modules/Quizzes/Perl6/Newbies/OffTopic/etc.

This kind of question comes up with some regularity. For example:

If, after reading those, you still think PerlMonks needs a new section (or some kind of change to an existing section) — discuss it in the chatterbox!
Then, assuming the idea still has air, post in [id://1040].

Here's the fundamental point:

Posts are assigned to sections based not on their subject matter but on their type of discourse. ([id://303788|cite])

<!--

Creating a new section is a non-trivial thing. In general, the [gods] would probably only consider
creating a new section if there was a clear, desperate need for one.
So, if you were saying "I have a ton of articles that I'd like to write for
PerlMonks, and they don't fit in an existing section," [gods|they] might at least consider whether creating a new section would make sense. But usually, such proposals are couched in terms that boil down, in essence, to "I want this new section and I want other people to start filling it in.
So think about it. If you're the only person in the world who perceives a need for this new section, you'd probably better resign yourself to the idea that it isn't going to happen.
