Well, I haven't used CGI.pm in my script. I can use it if I need to, but I'm wondering if it's possible to accomplish the above without the use of CGI.pm? Thanks.

It's a reasonable question to ask, for the answer to this and much more about CGI I suggest you take the time to work through Ovid's CGI Course. Lesson 2 covers "A closer look at the CGI.pm module and why you shouldn't roll your own.".	[reply]
