No good for me, ... Well, that is what you get with tk+listbox+optionmenu, Tkx is 98% tcl/tk, so whatever choices those tcl guys made is what you have If you want different behaviour, you'll have to pick a different widget, or copy menu.tcl and edit out the grabs (and whatever else) until it does what you want Good luck
