Hmmm, perhaps as plan B. My plan A would be telling the finder to stop polluting my directories. I don't own a Mac, so I don't have much experience with that. But my guess is that there may be a hidden setting somewhere to disable the unwanted behaviour. Alexander -- Today I will gladly share my knowledge and experience, for there are no sweeter words than "I told you so". ;-)	[reply]
