    I have to say "Water", although I think I'm allergic to it. If I drink a few liters of *anything*, even with as little as 4% water in it, my head hurts really bad the next morning.

    You're forcing me to choose between alcohol and caffeine? I... I don't think I can help here.

    /me goes to drink it over a jack and coke.

      Nope, just take your pick of the numerous coffee stouts :)
      Is it possible to consume coffee without a cigarette?!
      Seems to me caffeine && nicotine should be listed as:
      caffeine && nicotine
      But, then again, the same could probably said about alcohol && cigarettes. :P
      #!/usr/bin/perl -Tw
      use perl::always;
      my $perl_version = "5.12.4";
      print $perl_version;
        I can personally attest, that nicotine consumption is NOT required for either of those activities. Neither caffeine or alcohol consumption require it.

    can I have back my multiple radio button?!..

    L*
    there are no rules, there are no thumbs..
      That would go a bit too far in emulating the old mechanical buttons that you could indeed press several at a time, usually doing something both unexpected and useless.

    Back when I had time to think about such things, the four categories were
    • salt
    • sugar
    • grease
    • caffeine
    Due to this truth, a pizza served with a 2-liter bottle of Coke comprise a balanced meal -- the former meets the salt and grease requirements, while the latter provides sugar and caffeine. Alcohol is a garnish, and should be enjoyed as such.

    The four basic classes of nutrients are fat, starch, sugar, and crunchy bits.

    I chose water, although strictly speaking not a nutrient. Had vitamins and/or minerals been on the list (excluding sodium, which typically isn't lacking in a 'modern' diet), I would have chosen that instead, simply because it would be the correct answer.
