mguttman has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

A very useful Perl script is the "". I tried to use it in a 'cmd' window on Win-7/64-bit. It emits many escape sequences. looking at the script I found that it uses the Term::ReadLine package. Trying Win32::Console::ANSI and Term::ANSIScreen didn't help.

Any monk with wisdom about this?

Kind regards

Update: Sorry, the two packages were not installed properly. It does works "mostly" when these two are installed as they should:

Opening file: admissibility_params.cert avr_vol_days => 50 max_mkt_cap_MNIS => 600 min_avr_turnover_KNIS => 50 min_mkt_cap_MNIS => 200 security_type => 01 trimming_pct => 0.05 ←[0;33m/ (HASH)> ←[0m0m
